Life in prison 3

After the encounter with Long John, I was devastated. When Frostie came out from confinement, he could not believe his ears when he was told what happened during his absence. He lashed out at me. This was to hard for me to bear. I decided from that day to prepare for another sow down with John. Frostie had agreed that their will be another challenge and this time i had better be ready because i would be the one to fight again. The next day my Lawyer cam around, he told me that he was talking to the Judge about letting me get out earlier and i should be of good behaviour. Coupled with the fact that i had already been involved with a fight in the prison i thought about the whole good behaviour thing and decide that whatever it would cost me to see Long John eat his own shit i would do.
My waiting was not to be for long. Three days after my lawyer’s visit, Dagger, one of John’s boys came to our part of the yard and wanted to boss us around. I immediately took charge and lead the assault on Dagger. When he returned to John, we had already decided on how we were going to execute the fight. With Dagger leading the charge of John’s boys, I could already smell victory. Wham! came Dagger’s punch across my face. I steeled myself against its effect and immediately replied with a torrent of slaps and punches. Not allowing him a minutes breath, I quickly made mince meat of him. I was so overcome with emotion that i did not notice that the fighting had ended. I continued dealing blows on Dagger’s face. Whack! was the only sound i heard on my head, next thing i was in a strait jacket in a padded room. I woke with a throbbing headache.
The fact that i was in the padded room did not dim my joy of knowing that i had proved my mettle and John now knew that i was nobody’s bitch. Smiling to myself i slept off with dreams of victory. “Wake up, mad dog”, the warden had come to wake me. because of my peaceful disposition the warden on duty decided to let me out of the confinement. On getting to the prison yard, everyone including Frostie and Slow gave me a rousing welcome. “Power Mike”, “Strong man”, “James Bond”…… and other names were accorded me on, my return. “One Monkey go go market, e no go come back” that was John’s comment, ” Everyday is for the thief one is for the owner, It’s your time enjoy it”. I could not care less about his remarks because he knew as much as i knew that it would take something greater than John himself to make me afraid of him again. A new me was born. A ME that even John and his Henchmen could not stop. I was INVINCIBLE……. or so i thought
